Foreword

Welcome to the Botswana web site. Let us journey together through the land of open spaces, untamed wilderness and catch a glimpse of some of the best wildlife viewing on the African continent.

A place where the wonderful waterways of the world renowned Okavango Delta meets the Kalahari thirst land. A destination of myriad beauties, rich cultures, wonderful scenery, and most importantly a very peaceful and stable country.

Even as you browse through, you will begin to get a feel of the people, their hospitality and their culture; you will start to feel the unique and thrilling travel experience you can indulge in by visiting Botswana.

Our conservation policies and eco-tourism strategies ensure that Botswana’s tourism is sustainable for its inhabitants and future generations of tourists while contributing meaningfully to the national economy. This also ensures that you can keep coming back to the unspoilt pristine environments, but keep a look out for new exciting discoveries and developments as we expand and diversify our tourism product offer further into new awesome and less known geographic locations.

In keeping with sustainable tourism development and growth, we have produced an Ecotourism manual that serves as a guide for Botswana operators to refer to in order to ensure that developments are done in harmony with nature. Click here for the Ecotourism Manual

We have pleasure in announcing the finalisation of our first grading of accommodation facilities which is based on a star system. Information on these accommodation facilities and their star ratings can be found here

Grading is an on going exercise and we would greatly appreciate feedback from visitors who have used our accommodation facilities so we can on a continuous basis, improve our service for your enjoyment. Kindly fill in the feedback form here.

As you decide on your next holiday or business destination ensure you do not miss out on one of the tourism destinations to be visited during your lifetime……immerse yourself in Botswana, a paradise for nature-lovers.
